Although I am a lawyer by profession and have been in practice for over 30 years, in tandem I have been drawing and painting whenever time has permitted.Like  handwriting, it seems to me that everyone will produce a different effect or style and what is “good” is very much a subjective thing . Drawing and painting is also for me the perfect antidote for the pressures of running a busy law practice. Sometimes I wonder whether that release has had an unintentional beneficial effect on my art. Over the years , I have turned my hand to different types of subject matter including still life,landscape, street scenes and so on .My preference is portraiture and life drawing
